Kyle T. Farrar

Bio: Kyle T. Farrar joined Ikard Wynne in 2015 with a focus on commercial litigation. Prior to beginning work with Ikard Wynne, Kyle served as a law clerk to Justice Paul W. Green of the Supreme Court of Texas.

Kyle received his J.D. from Baylor University in 2014, graduating magna cum laude. While at Baylor, Kyle served on the Baylor Law Review and competed on Baylor’s nationally ranked advocacy teams. His team won the Stetson National Pretrial Competition in 2012 and he competed in both the Elliott Cup and Duberstein Moot Court Competitions in 2013. Kyle also served as an intern to former Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson of the Supreme Court of Texas as well as Judge Jennifer Elrod of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Kyle rounded out his experience in law school by authoring a CLE paper titled Breach of Contract Causes of Action – Evidence and Damages and by drafting and editing several chapters of Professors Jim Wren and Jeremy Counseller’s book, Texas Commercial Causes of Action: Claims, Defenses and Remedies.

Outside of his law practice, Kyle enjoys rock climbing and playing golf and disc golf. Kyle is a member of the Human Rights Campaign and also volunteers at the Austin Animal Center.
