Rachel Putnam

Bio: Rachel Putnam joined Ikard Wynne in 2015 with a focus on family law and collaborative law. Originally from Illinois, Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from University of Kansas at Lawrence in 2010. She then earned her law degree (J.D.) from University of Texas School of Law in 2015.

While at law school, Rachel served on the board of the Texas Journal for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, where her article, Exploring Viable Options for Class Actions for Underrepresented African-American Professors in American Universities Post Wal-Mart v. Dukes, was published in Spring 2015. She also participated in the Children’s Rights Clinic where she represented children in Travis County as a student attorney ad litem. During her years in law school, Rachel interned with, among others, Justice Boyd at the Texas Supreme Court as well as the Texas Attorney General’s Office, General Litigation Division.
