Bio:Sharon Coffee Baxter joined Ikard Wynne LLP as a partner in July 2017. She began her litigation practice in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and returned to Texas in 1997. In her 27 years of practice and over 100 trials to verdict she has a wide range of litigation experience. For the past 8 years she served as the Senior Litigation Attorney and Manager of the Appeals Division for the Travis Central Appraisal District and brings to the firm extensive experience in advocacy at administrative hearings before the Appraisal Review Board as well as the litigation, negotiation and settlement of commercial litigation involving hotels, corporate campuses, office buildings, retail shopping centers, multifamily commercial high rises, mini-storage facilities, business personal property and commercial vacant land.

Sharon is committed to assisting in the development of the best advocates in the state and nation and has worked with trial advocacy programs at Howard University, Temple University, and the National Trial Lawyer Association. She currently teaches at the University of Texas at Austin, Trial Advocacy Program.
