Bio: Stephen Pasta joined Ikard Wynne in 2016 with a focus on business and transactions law and commercial litigation. Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in 2013. Prior to joining Ikard Wynne, Stephen received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he graduated summa cum laude.

During law school, Stephen was an active member of the South Texas Law Review. In 2015, the South Texas Law Review published Stephen’s article, “Nonsubscribers’ Claims of ‘No Duty’ Against Employee’s Workplace Injuries,” which examined an important premises liability issue before the Supreme Court of Texas at the time of its publication. Outside the classroom, Stephen interned with, among others, Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Texas Jeff Bohm where he assisted in the drafting and publication of bankruptcy law opinions.

When he’s not practicing law, Stephen enjoys spending time with his fiancé Dessa and their dog Alfie. Alfie is a certified therapy dog, and Stephen and Dessa enjoy using his charm to help others in need. Stephen also practices yoga, enjoys cooking, and has a fondness for authentic Asian cuisine.
