The Honorable Diane Henson is a former justice on the Texas Third Court of Appeals. Prior to being elected to the Court of Appeals, Diane was a litigator with over twenty-five years of courtroom experience. Having argued cases before juries for more than twenty-five years, Diane knows that the jury system is one of the most powerful tools of our democracy. In 1997, Diane was inducted in to the American Board of Trial Advocates. In 2005 and 2006, she was recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly in civil litigation. Diane has been A.V. rated by Martindale-Hubbell for more than twenty years and has been board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Specialization since 1995. Justice Henson brings a passion for and belief in trial practice and the jury system to complement her distinguished career in the judiciary.
